I'm Angela, a passionate Yoga Therapist and Teacher, as well as an avid hiker and animal lover.

 

Here, you'll find inspiring content about yoga, wellness, and the joys of embracing an active lifestyle.

My Story

 

I've always had an interest in health and fitness.

 

Even though I'm not naturally sporty, I've dabbled in many activities. My main sports were horseriding and martial arts, then adding on group fitness, where I became a Les Mills BODYSTEP® and BODYPUMP® instructor.

I've always enjoyed the outdoors and this saw a natural progression from the gym environment to hiking and exploring the outdoors.

Working in an emergency service for over 25 years, I saw a need to balance the mind and body. This led to my passion for yoga.

I am not a flexible person and I initially completed my yoga teacher training for my own benefit. However, a deeper understanding of the principles of yoga led me to wanting to share the benefits with others.

So I completed additional teacher training in trauma-aware yoga and Yin yoga.

Then I found my deep passion for yoga therapy. After two years of study and practicum I received the Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy.

I'm incredibly excited by the growing evidence supporting the benefits of yoga therapy for those suffering from effects of PTSD and trauma.

I'm looking forward to helping people using yoga therapy techniques.
