Growing up with a parent with chronic health issues, I developed a keen interest in health and fitness.
From playing school sports, weight training in the gym, then moved into group fitness; eventually teaching Body Pump and Step.
In the last few years I've started running (well those who see me say jogging :)), hiking and yoga.
I've never been a naturally sporty person, I exercise because I enjoy it....well sometimes I enjoy the feel good hormones at the end!
As I've aged (I've past my 1st half century 😃) I've realised when we focus on the health benefits the looking better will happen naturally, not to mention the improvements to our mental health.
This is why I want to reach out to all those who think they can't. If that is you, you're my people!
